362 – Greek To Me: Mapping Mutual Incomprehension � Strange Maps
While English speakers say “It’s Greek to me” when they encounter something indecipherable, the preferred incomprehensible language of reference for much of the rest of the world is Chinese. What do the Chinese consider incomprehensible? Only “the language of Heaven”. Hah!
