Hmmm… “rantings of a mute”? (with her mouth full of cookie crumbs?) “See the bird, honey?!”
I am a 45-year-old married mother of two “only” sons, one young man in the Marines, and one preschooler. My husband is a teacher of French, Arabic, and English as a second language.
I’m not sure what this blog is or will be “about”. There are over 250 feeds in the news reader I started using fairly recently, and at least 1000 links, old and new, in my “Favorite Places”, even after recent purges, so I suppose I am something of a collector and resourcer… I find the world incredibly interesting! If I could, perhaps I would go to school in library science, or communications, or photography, or ???… but for now I muddle through on my own, and find blogging to be a very useful way to keep notes of my meanderings, of the world events that punctuate my own little existence, and of the people, ideas, organizations, projects, etc. that are shaping the world my two sons will live in.
Unfortunately, I do not have time to give all these wonderful discoveries the time and attention they deserve…

Perhaps in time I will be able to share some of these discoveries in a more useful, thoughtful, entertaining, and meaningful way. In the short run I will probably point you to someone else who can, hah!
