UPDATE: Cannot Import from Blogger into WordPress.com

I received the following e-mail this morning from Hanni at WordPress.com support:

Just to say that we are still investigating the Blogger import issue. In the meantime, you should be able to use this converter to convert your Blogger export file to a WordPress import file that can then be imported from Tools > Import in your dashboard.

This process is a little too time-consuming for my needs, but the good news is that this problem appears to be a glitch that someone is working on and not a policy change. Looks like my blogs may not be synched for some time, though.
